Area Manager Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to drive operational consistency, strengthen team capability, and support Store Managers in delivering exceptional service, results, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coach Store Managers and reinforce Crown's standards to ensure stores are consistent, customer-focused, and well run.
  • Support capability by helping Store Managers grow their leadership, coaching and customer service skills.
  • Drive consistency by reinforcing the Royal Sales Process, compliance expectations, and operational standards.
  • Strengthen execution through observation, coaching, and support across key operational areas.
  • Provide insights to inform performance conversations and regional actions.
  • Encourage excellence by identifying coaching opportunities and highlighting team success.
Requirements:
  • Multi-site, field-based, or operational support experience in retail, hospitality, or financial services.
  • Strong coaching and communication skills with a practical mindset.
  • Confidence interpreting reports, tools, and store-level KPIs to guide support.
  • A solutions-focused approach to compliance, service, and standards.
  • Comfort working independently and spending most of time in stores.
  • A commitment to role modelling Crown's values every day.
