Trade Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Trades Assistant to join our crew based out of Jandakot depot. This is an exciting, hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and develop your skills.

This Trades Assistant role involves operating excavators and laying underground services in high-risk environments. You will need to have previous experience in a similar role within a maintenance or construction environment and be able to thrive in a team-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently
  • Lay underground services such as cables and pipes
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience cable laying in the utilities construction environment
  • Clear and concise communication skills with a strong focus on safety first
  • Excavator ticket
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence (MR+ highly desirable)
  • OHS Construction Induction Card (White/Blue)
  • Lay power cables UETDRDU016 (highly desirable)
