Warehouse and Logistics Specialist

We're seeking a skilled professional to join our warehouse team

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse and Logistics Specialist to execute standard processes and procedures for warehouse and yard activities. This includes receiving, storage, yard management, preservation, accuracy, and the delivery of inventory/equipment to internal and external customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for logistics and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as needed to ensure on-time delivery and shipments.
  • Execute 6S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain and Safety) plan and perform physical inventory and asset verification.
  • Provide coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence.
  • Work on other warehouse and yard duties/projects as assigned.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Certificate or equivalent Diploma with at least 1 year experience in warehousing/supply chain.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 kgs and ability to operate a forklift while loading/unloading freight.
  • Possess basic written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic math and have basic PC skills.
