Job Description

The Collins Submarine Program aims to ensure Australia has a robust and capable submarine capability. As part of the Integrated Logistics Support Sustainment Section, you will provide strategic guidance, planning and conduct materiel and logistics related sustainment tasks.

This role involves:

  • Verifying ILS products in support of CCSM configuration changes.
  • Managing the Navy Allowance System, facilitating required updates, amendments and verification activities.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes.

You will have an understanding of Defence Logistic Policy and Procedures and provide expert advice to stakeholders on required outcomes. You will also have knowledge of the Defence Logistics Information System and the Defence Electronic Supply Chain Manual.

This role sits in the CSMP Sustainment Branch within the Integrated Logistics Support Section. You will have access to attractive working conditions as an Australian Public Servant in Defence.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Relevant experience and demonstrable expertise in Integrated Logistics Support.
  • Accountability under limited direction to perform and achieve complex materiel and logistics work within an integrated workforce.
  • Understanding of and compliance to relevant legislative frameworks and Defence mission and policy requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Commitment to the Defence Behaviours.
