Nuclear Submarine Sustainment Specialist

Leading the way in submarine design and project management, we have a unique opportunity for a highly skilled Principal Industrial Relations Specialist to join our team.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced professional with a strong legal background to support the nuclear-powered submarine sustainment program in Henderson, Western Australia.
- Develop and implement effective industrial relations strategies that align with program objectives and national interests.
- Collaborate closely with our partners and provide high-standard advice and services across the business.
This critical role requires:
- Tertiary qualifications in Employment Law or Industrial Relations.
- Experience in contributing to the development of an IR strategy.
- Demonstrated 5-10 years work experience in a legal/industrial relations-based role.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive knowledge of relevant industrial instruments (e.g., National Employment Standards, Fair Work Act).
- Ability to apply critical thinking to effectively resolve issues and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
