- As a Nuclear Submarine Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing critical support services to visiting nuclear submarine crews, ensuring seamless coordination between the contractor workforce and Submarine Rotational Force West.
Key Responsibilities:

- Task Management: Oversee the tasking of contractors for conduct of maintenance on visiting Nuclear Submarines, as well as provision of wharf side services.">
- Defect Support: Provide contracted defect support to visiting Nuclear Submarines, responding 24 hours a day if required.">
- Planning and Coordination: Plan and task contractors for provision of services for visiting Nuclear submarines, ensuring timely delivery of support services.">
- Interface Management: Interface with Submarine Rotational Force West for all contracted support to visiting Nuclear Submarines, facilitating effective communication and coordination.">
- Capability Development: Assist in the development of Submarine Rotational Force capabilities, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.">
- Maintenance Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement maintenance planning strategies, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing downtime.">
- Contractor Oversight: Manage and oversee contractor manufacturing projects for support of Nuclear Submarine Maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.">
- Safety Management: Conduct safety management oversight, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel involved in nuclear submarine maintenance activities.">
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including daily deconfliction meetings and activity progress updates."
