Key Responsibilities:

  • Task Management: Oversee the tasking of contractors for conduct of maintenance on visiting Nuclear Submarines, as well as provision of wharf side services.">
  • Defect Support: Provide contracted defect support to visiting Nuclear Submarines, responding 24 hours a day if required.">
  • Planning and Coordination: Plan and task contractors for provision of services for visiting Nuclear submarines, ensuring timely delivery of support services.">
  • Interface Management: Interface with Submarine Rotational Force West for all contracted support to visiting Nuclear Submarines, facilitating effective communication and coordination.">
  • Capability Development: Assist in the development of Submarine Rotational Force capabilities, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.">
  • Maintenance Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement maintenance planning strategies, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing downtime.">
  • Contractor Oversight: Manage and oversee contractor manufacturing projects for support of Nuclear Submarine Maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.">
  • Safety Management: Conduct safety management oversight, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel involved in nuclear submarine maintenance activities.">
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including daily deconfliction meetings and activity progress updates."
