Senior Implementation Leader

We are seeking an experienced Senior Implementation Leader to drive the successful delivery of a complex system implementation program within the education sector.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing technical project requirements and aligning them with business needs, as well as leading high-performing teams and establishing productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This challenging opportunity offers a unique chance to make a significant impact in Student Safeguarding and employment lifecycle initiatives. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering this critical program, working closely with technical staff, central office business areas, and school and regional office staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive program plans, ensuring timely completion of project activities and alignment with defined financial parameters.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, leveraging strong leadership skills and ability to manage high-performing teams.
  • Foster collaboration and communication among stakeholders, facilitating discussions, contributing/presenting at meetings, and representing the project in various settings.
  • IDentify, mitigate, report, and escalate risks and issues throughout the project, utilizing analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain effective relationships with vendors, exercising commercial acumen and direct vendor management experience.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in successfully delivering complex system implementation projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, budget management, and risk mitigation.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with a record of achievement in solving complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven negotiation and liaison abilities.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
