Veolia ANZ is a leading provider of environmental solutions, and we are seeking an experienced National Operations Manager to join our Energy Solutions team.

The successful candidate will be based out of our Springfield office and will lead all operational contracts for the Energy Solutions business. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader who can drive growth and profitability.

About the Role

  • Lead a team of Contract Managers and their operational and technical staff.
  • Manage all operational contracts to ensure Veolia exceeds contractual KPIs and customer service expectations.
  • Accountability for the overall profitability and achievement of set budget and revenue targets for all operational contracts and assigned projects.
  • Provide leadership, performance management, and development for the extended team, including direct reports.
  • Represent Veolia professionally, maintain customer relationships, and identify growth opportunities within the existing customer portfolio.
  • Lead the Energy team's safety and compliance effort.
  • Support the broader Energy Solutions and Trading team with operational and development support.

About You

  • Strong leadership credentials, managing a multi-faceted team.
  • Extensive experience in business management and contract management.
  • Building Services or Technical Engineering experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a productive working relationship with internal and external customers.
  • Previous experience managing a P&L and strong commercial acumen.
  • Business, technical trade or engineering qualification will be highly regarded.
  • Be able to successfully obtain a National Police check.
  • Ability to nominate as a Mechanical Services Nominee, or Electrical Nominee in various states.
