The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-value deal making, with a proven track record of delivering sales outcomes for energy solutions in the industrial sector. With a deep understanding of the energy market, particularly in solar, wind, batteries, and hybrid systems, you'll be responsible for driving growth and revenue through the development and execution of sales plans.

Salary Estimate: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

  • Lead business development activities for major projects, including research and relationship-building with key stakeholders
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities to meet annual targets
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality sales outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environment standards
  • Demonstrate AGL's values by acting in the best interests of the company and collaborating with colleagues to achieve outstanding results

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, commerce, or engineering
  • Proven experience in high-value deal making for projects exceeding AU$5 million
  • Deep understanding of the energy market, particularly in solar, wind, batteries, and hybrid systems
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Self-motivated, achievement-oriented, and disciplined individual with strong time management skills
