The company is seeking a Legal Administration Manager to join their Brisbane office on a permanent, full-time basis.
- Lead the Legal Support and Facilities functions in Brisbane;
- Manage a team of approximately 30 direct reports including Legal Assistants, Administration Assistants, Facilities Coordinators, and Practice Management team members;
- Cultivate a high-performance culture within the team;
- Monitor and improve the quality and consistency of service provided;
- Allocate work and utilize administrative support to meet business needs;
- Actively manage performance and collaborate with HR colleagues for cyclical processes such as remuneration and talent review;
- Partner with the recruitment team to drive recruitment efforts and internal promotion and career development opportunities.
In the future, the Brisbane office will be relocating premises, and the successful candidate will play a key role in logistics and communication.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Prior experience leading large teams ideally in an office/practice manager position or as legal support supervisor;
- Able to build strong working relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels;
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and commitment to operational excellence;
- Excellent Emotional Intelligence (EQ) managing a diverse group of employees;
- Strong time management and prioritization skills;
- Professional approach written and verbal communication suitable for a high-performance legal environment;
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in relevant field e.g. front-line leadership, human resources, business, or law.
