Empowerment Specialist

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate professionals to join our team in empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their employment goals and integrate into the workforce by providing personalized support, guidance, and advocacy.
As an Empowerment Specialist, you will empower clients to realize their full potential by conducting comprehensive assessments, identifying strengths, skills, interests, and barriers to employment.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Conducting thorough assessments to identify clients' abilities and areas for growth.
- Collaborating with clients to establish realistic employment objectives and develop tailored action plans.
- Providing guidance and support in resume development, job searching, interview preparation, and workplace etiquette.
- Fostering skill-building workshops and training sessions aligned with clients' needs.
- Assisting clients in discovering suitable job opportunities that match their skills and career aspirations.
- Advocating on behalf of clients to ensure access to necessary accommodations, support services, and community resources.
- Offering ongoing emotional support, encouragement, and empowerment to clients throughout their employment journey.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a related field.
- A strong understanding of disability rights, employment laws, and accommodations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database management.
