Job Overview:

The Residential Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards and within agreed timelines.

This role requires a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations. The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Supervising and coordinating the work of construction teams on-site
    • Ensuring all projects adhere to relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
    • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
    • Identifying and resolving any issues or problems that arise on-site in a timely manner
    • Monitoring and reporting on project progress, budgets, and timelines

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Residential Construction Supervisor or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting design plans and specifications
  • Proven track record of successfully completing residential construction projects
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in building, carpentry or a related field
