Role Summary
This is an integral part of a school's commitment to student engagement and wellbeing.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of senior management to create a positive climate for learning, focusing on student wellbeing and staff capacity building.
Main Responsibilities:
- To perform and/or supervise tasks in accordance with standard practice and school policy.
- Supervising routine tasks and ensuring they are completed to required standards.
- Contributing to identifying training needs and development of education support staff related to student and staff wellbeing.
- Providing support to teachers, education support staff, and students to promote positive engagement and enhance wellbeing.
- Assisting staff with data collection, identification of behaviours of concern, and development of behaviour support plans.
- Delivering Team Teach Trainer training to staff as required.
About This Role
This role will be responsible for creating a supportive environment that promotes student engagement and wellbeing. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and other staff members to achieve this goal.
