We are seeking a Student Wellbeing Specialist to lead our student wellbeing initiatives.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality education and guidance programs that promote students' intellectual, social, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement evidence-based Literacy and Numeracy Instruction, Teaching and Learning programs
  • Provide exclusive Performing Arts, Visual Communications, and Sporting programs that develop students' intellectual, social, emotional, and physical wellbeing
  • Offer a safe and secure one-to-one Digital Technology platform that supports student learning and develops a culture of Digital Agency
  • Provide production-based learning such as Robotics and Coding and STEM to increase students' creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills
  • Offer a Personalised Learning model through goal setting which promotes a sense of self-mastery allowing each individual to reach their full potential
  • Encourage cultural understanding and acceptance of diversity

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated high-level knowledge of relevant policy context, evidence-based approaches, programs, and research relating to child health and wellbeing
  • Demonstrated capacity to effectively implement and manage intervention strategies that address advanced and complex cases, including critical incidents and those involving cross-professional or agency collaboration
  • Demonstrated high-level organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with young people, parents/carers, and teachers as well as professionals in the education and health systems
  • Demonstrated ability to provide ongoing support and professional development to teachers, students, and the wider community to enhance the wellbeing and learning needs of all students
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver evidence-based counselling services to children using various modalities and therapeutic interventions
