Our organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Sourcing Manager to join our team.

Job Description

We are looking for a strategic and innovative sourcing expert who can lead the development of sourcing plans, value chain analysis and procurement initiatives that drive business outcomes. You will be responsible for building trusted partnerships with stakeholders, suppliers and government partners, and achieving commercial impact through expert negotiations and risk management.

The ideal candidate will have broad procurement knowledge across services, civil works, and consultancy, and experience in procurement planning, category management, sourcing, and contracts. They will also have strong understanding of legislation and policy, and proven ability to deliver business benefits through cost optimisation, process improvement, innovation, and sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies that deliver value and manage risk.
  • BUILD Trusted relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and government partners.
  • Achieve commercial impact through expert negotiations and risk management.
  • Drive excellence in contract and supplier management with strong governance.
  • Strengthen procurement capability and enable continuous improvement across the organisation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain, business, commerce or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in procurement planning, category management, sourcing, and contracts, with strong understanding of legislation and policy.
  • Proven ability to deliver business benefits through cost optimisation, process improvement, innovation, and sustainable outcomes.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with ability to build effective relationships across all levels.
  • Collaborative approach to align strategies with goals and negotiate outcomes within time, quality, and budget requirements.
