Job Title: Disability Support Worker

We are seeking experienced and compassionate individuals to join our team as Disability Support Workers.

This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centered care and support to clients in their daily routines.

Your role may involve assisting clients with daily living activities, providing transportation, and accompanying them to appointments and social events.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a genuine passion for working with people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered care and support to clients in their daily routines
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments and social events
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure client needs are met
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Disability or equivalent experience
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid/CPR certificates (current)
  • Full and clean Australian driver's license

Working Conditions:

  • Varied hours, including morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Ability to commute/relocate to Carnegie VIC
