Job Description

The Occupational Therapy Team Leader plays a crucial role in supporting a team of clinicians to deliver high-quality clinical services and assessments.

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical guidance and support to Occupational Therapists with day-to-day service delivery
  • Delivering training, induction, and supervision as required
  • Completing quality assurance report reviews and feedback
  • Attending appointments with Occupational Therapists to provide support and training
  • Developing exceptionally well-written reports and management plans that incorporate useful and cutting-edge strategies and interventions

You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, community, and/or offices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • At least 3 years of experience as a practicing Occupational Therapist (preferred)
  • Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA
  • A vehicle and driver's license
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain one for a client-facing role
