Job Title: Metal Fabrication Trade Assistant

This is a hands-on role assisting our fabrication team in the workshop.

About the Role:
  • Assisting the fabrication team in the workshop during build and assembly of custom equipment.
  • Supporting the day-to-day build and assembly of custom equipment, helping us deliver high-quality products to farmers across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with metal fabrication and general workshop duties.
  • Reading and interpreting basic workshop drawings.
  • Cutting and grinding steel using drop saws, grinders, cold saws, and plasma cutters.
  • Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Measuring and marking out materials.
  • Keeping workspaces clean and organised.
  • Moving and handling steel components safely (forklift licence preferred).
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a metal fabrication workshop (minimum 1–2 years).
  • Good attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Able to follow instructions and work in a team.
  • Physically fit and reliable.
  • Safety-conscious and proactive.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a metal fabrication workshop, be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, and have a good understanding of safety procedures. They should also be willing to learn new skills and work as part of a team.
