Are you passionate about childcare and leadership? This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the children, parents, and team in our Outside of School Hours Care program.

Job Description

As Second in Charge (2IC), you'll deliver high-quality care and create memorable experiences for primary school aged children. Your role involves engaging with the school community, attending events, assemblies and assisting with creating and implementing enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.

Key aspects of this job include:

  • Delivering excellent care and education services to children
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with families and colleagues
  • Assisting with planning and implementing programs that meet the needs of all children
Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a confident communicator and strong team player. You'll need:

  • A Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards it
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
  • The ability to work across split shifts, Monday to Friday
