Speech Pathologist Opportunity">

We are seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic and growing Allied Health team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will work closely with clients, their families, support workers, and other professionals to achieve their goals.

Our goal is to provide the opportunity to build capacity within Speech Pathology and to support dedicated clinicians to accelerate their learning and their career while providing excellent services to our clients.

  • Manage a caseload of NDIS clients with a variety of disabilities.
  • Work with children (7 yrs.+) and adults in their homes, schools/community settings.
  • Receive supervision and support from experienced senior clinicians and external mentors.
  • Have opportunities to work with AAC, swallowing/dysphagia, complex communication needs.
  • Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams (OTs, speech pathologists, positive behaviour support practitioners).
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
">Requirements">
  • Be a qualified Speech Pathologist with energy and commitment to working with people with a disability.
  • Be a member of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Enjoy working with people with complex communication needs.
  • Have an understanding of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems or willingness to learn.
  • Be able to assess and diagnose swallowing disorders.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal), ability to write information that is accessible for everyone.
  • Be driven to succeed and committed to continuous learning.

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology or recognised equivalent degree.
  • Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Employee Working with Children Check/NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Current driving licence and registered car.
