Financial Services Manager, Cash and Transactional Banking Expert

Key Responsibilities:

Cash & Transactional Banking (C&TB) Finance team is responsible for providing financial support, advice, and solutions to the C&TB Consumer Line of Business (LOB). This LOB is one of the main growth highways within the Group's strategic priorities. Our team is focused on helping the LOB deliver outcomes with a focus on supporting the group funding requirements, supporting our customers' cash flow needs, growing our MFI and Core customers, and delivering against the group's cost agenda.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Review financial and non-financial LOB results with a view to providing actionable advice and identifying business opportunities.
  • Partner with the LOB for day-to-day support of product initiatives (e.g., Pricing Papers etc.).
  • Analysis and reporting of the LOB's monthly financial performance outcomes.
  • Assist in managing the LOB's planning and forecasting processes.
  • Peer analysis, ad hoc analysis, and deep dives to drive improved business performance.
  • Assistance on special projects, as required.
  • Support preparation of regulatory returns and input into ASX results.
  • Support an achievement culture in servicing customers through strong stakeholder engagement, clear articulate communication, and provision of quality financial insights focused on actionable outcomes.
  • Teamwork and development – working collaboratively with broader Finance team.
  • Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting processes and work closely with other teams to deliver improvements.
