About the Role:
  • Job Summary: As a Community Support Worker Level 2 Carer, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Personal Care: Supervise showers or baths, toileting, applying and removing compression garments, grooming, skin care, oral hygiene, assisting with eating, transferring clients in and out of bed/chair/car, and mobility assistance where safe to do so.
  • Domestic Assistance: Provide housework, spring cleaning, laundry, making beds, tidying rooms, storing clothes, cleaning wardrobes, meal preparation, light gardening, and care of indoor plants.
  • Social & Emotional Support: Help clients stay connected through technology and activities.
  • Transportation: Accompany clients on shopping, medical visits, and supporting community connections.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Require:

  • Prior experience in community or residential care
  • A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care, with a transcript of completed modules to verify your qualification
  • A Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A valid Australian driver's license and access to a registered, insured vehicle
  • Comfortable traveling up to 45 minutes to 1 hour to reach clients
  • Full COVID-19 vaccinations (highly desirable)
