What Your Day Could Include: Personal Care: Supervising showers or baths, toileting, applying and removing compression garments, grooming, skin care, oral hygiene, assisting with eating, transferring clients in and out of bed/chair/car, and mobility assistance where safe to do so.
Domestic Assistance: Housework, spring cleaning, laundry, making beds, tidying rooms, storing clothes, cleaning wardrobes, meal preparation, light gardening, and care of indoor plants.
Social & Emotional Support: Help clients stay connected through technology and activities.
Transportation: Shopping, medical visits, and supporting community connections.
What We Offer: Tax-Free Benefits: Salary packaging up to $15,899 p.a.
+ Meal and Entertainment Card ($2,650 pre-tax)Travel Reimbursement: 99c per km.
Equipment: Smartphone and specific tools provided.
Support: Full rostering and administrative support for appointment management.
Professional Development: Training and career growth opportunities Parental Leave: 9 weeks paid (for eligible applicants)About You: Prior experience in community or residential care and understand that the role includes providing domestic assistance.
Hold a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care and can provide a transcript of completed modules to verify your qualification.
Have Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
Have a valid Australian driver's license and access to a registered, insured vehicle.
You are comfortable traveling up to 45 minutes to 1 hour to reach clients.
Full COVID-19 vaccinations are highly desirable Important Details: Position requires availability Mon - Fri (Occasional weekends highly desirable)Successful candidates will Initially work 20-30 hours per fortnight, with potential to increase hours.
