Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate culinary leader to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee a talented kitchen team, setting high standards for food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and serve meals to the highest standard of quality and presentation.
- Develop menus, specials and functions to meet customer demands and preferences.
- Manage food purchasing, menu pricing and monthly stocktakes to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Oversee the receiving, storage and rotation of food to maintain freshness and safety.
- Foster a safe working environment by adhering to all regulatory requirements and best practices.
Requirements
- Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and manage kitchen staff effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills in various hospitality settings.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Full working rights in Australia.
