We are seeking a Visitor Engagement Officer to join our team at the Immigration Museum. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service and engagement to our visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming and orienting visitors to our museum venues
  • Processing ticket sales and providing excellent customer service
  • Assisting Public Programs staff in the delivery of programs and activations
  • Providing tours and presentations to visitors and VIP groups

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a visitor-facing role is highly valued
  • Competency with computers and point-of-sale equipment
  • Availability to work some evenings when Museum activities focus on something outside of the normal Museum experience
  • Ability to work as an effective team member within a diverse organisation
