Job Title: Labor Relations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor Relations Specialist to play a vital role in fostering positive relationships between our organization and our employees at IIQAF.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Labor Relations Strategies: Create and execute labor relations strategies to maintain positive employee relations and minimize labor disputes.
  • Conduct Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on labor laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and recommend best practices.
  • Negotiate Collective Bargaining Agreements: Negotiate collective bargaining agreements with unions to ensure fair and equitable terms for both the management and employees.
  • Mediate Labor Disputes: Mediate labor disputes and resolve grievances between the management and employees through effective communication and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement policies and procedures that promote a positive working environment and adhere to labor laws.
  • Advise Management: Advise management on labor relations issues and provide guidance on disciplinary actions, performance management, and other employee-related matters.
  • Stay Updated on Emerging Trends: Stay updated on emerging labor relations trends and proactively recommend innovative approaches to improve employee relations and enhance organizational performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in labor relations, human resources, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Labor Relations Specialist or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Labor Laws: In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Negotiation and Mediation Skills: Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Conflict Resolution: Proven ability to resolve conflicts in a fair and equitable manner.
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
