Job Overview

Lead a Team in Critical Infrastructure

This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee a small team at two sites: Victoria Barracks on St Kilda Road and Fishermans Bend in Port Melbourne. As a Site Leader, you will be responsible for managing operational aspects of the allocated Store site, monitoring performance standards, and ensuring adherence to Defence policy and procedures.

  • Manage Operational Aspects: Direct and coordinate operational activities to achieve efficient outcomes.
  • Monitor Performance: Verify and report operational performance standards to ensure compliance with set metrics.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain contract and operational adherence to Defence policy and procedures.
  • Deliver Consistent Service: Coordinate warehouse/stores operational procedures and practices to provide consistent service across all sites within the region.

About You:

  • Management Experience: Proven experience in management and/or logistics is essential.
  • Logistics Expertise: Minimum three years' experience in a logistics environment, preferably within the Defence sector.
  • Business Management: Demonstrated experience with business/financial management systems is highly regarded.
  • Stores Management: Experience in managing Stores or relevant operations is desirable.
