The Venue

Inspired by the tapas culture of Spain, Bar Topa is an exciting venue within Merivale's thriving dining precinct.

Dishes draw upon the flavours of the Mediterranean coast and include small snacks along with tapas cooked on 'la plancha'.

This intimate spot is perfect for gathering with friends to share a bottle of wine or sample some sangria while grazing the menu featuring sliced jamon, whipped salted cod, patas bravas and croquettes.

The Role

We are looking for a talented Culinary Team Member with a hunger to learn, lead and excel in their career. Key attributes we seek include:

  • 2+ years' experience in a quality restaurant or wine bar
  • A team player who can work both autonomously and under pressure
  • A good attitude, attention to detail and a passion for great food
  • Organised, presentable and responsible
  • A pleasure to interact with guests

This role is rewarding as you will be a key player in the team, collaborating with all areas of the venue from bar staff to guests giving positive feedback directly to you.

While we can teach you the ins and outs of the menu, what we really want is someone with the right attitude.
