Fitness Operations Manager

Council seeks enthusiastic leaders to inspire teams and drive positive change in the Gymnasium.
As a Fitness Professional, you will have the opportunity to lead, develop, and shape the future of our Fitness Club and team.
The Position Responsibilities- Lead by example – motivate and support staff in the Fitness environment.
- Drive high standards – ensure smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations.
- Coach and develop your team – provide day-to-day guidance, support training, and help others succeed.
- Champion customer service – create a friendly, welcoming environment for all users.
- Support compliance – uphold health & safety, safeguarding, and operational policies.
- Contribute to the centre's growth – assist with membership drives, community outreach, and service improvements.
- Proven leadership experience in leisure and fitness environments.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
- Ability to think on your feet, solve problems, and remain calm under pressure.
- Hold a Certificate IV in Fitness, current First Aid certificate, and CPR qualifications.
- A genuine interest in promoting health, fitness, and wellbeing.
- Skills in developing your team to perform at their best.
