We are seeking a career-driven Chief Financial Transactions Specialist to join our dynamic Shared Services team. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Plan Group businesses to deliver daily payments to providers and customers, account reconciliations, debtor management, and payment enquiries for the Plan Group businesses, Plan Partners, and Plan Tracker.

Your responsibilities will include prompt daily transaction processing into JDE Accounting Software, ensuring accuracy for accounts payable, maintenance of the Accounts Payable Ledger, daily reconciliation of General Ledge accounts, including bank accounts, accounts receivable, other debtors, creditors, and accruals. You will also prepare month-end journals, including revenue and expense accruals, and manage vendor/customer control.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for you to turn your transferrable skills into a career in the disability sector. While past experience working in disability is not a prerequisite for this role, we are looking for empathetic individuals with great time management skills who want to work in a people-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prompt daily transaction processing into JDE Accounting Software, ensuring accuracy for accounts payable.
  • Maintenance of the Accounts Payable Ledger.
  • Daily reconciliation of General Ledge accounts, including bank accounts, accounts receivable, other debtors, creditors, and accruals.
  • Preparation of month-end journals, including revenue and expense accruals.
  • Prompt response and management of supplier queries.
  • Management of vendor/customer control.
  • Maintenance of documentation of process and procedures with alignment to best practice payment control.
  • Regular review of business processes with opportunity to be a subject matter lead for continuous improvement.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks as directed by the business leads.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Demonstrated experience in banking reconciliation or accounts payable/receivable, ideally within a financial services environment, preferably in a high volume environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • JDE and Salesforce experience would be advantageous.
  • Transactional-based functional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in interpreting and analysing numerical data and complex information to complete required tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to tailor communication to providers and customers.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to demands and peak workloads.
  • Ability to recognise continuous improvement opportunities and provide feedback to management.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
