Account Manager Position in Sales Team

Job Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our Sales team in Kewdale. As a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor, we offer a competitive remuneration package and a chance to grow and build strong partnering relationships with our customers.
About the Role: In this customer-facing opportunity, you will work closely with customer service, operations, and supply chain teams to deliver product and service delivery for our valued customers and achieve growth in revenue, margin, and market share. Previous steel experience is not essential, but a passion to succeed and drive to deliver exceptional customer service is required.
Key Responsibilities: Covering a territory across the Perth metropolitan area, you will:
- Implement a purposeful call planning cycle and face-to-face client meetings to develop and maintain profitable business with new and existing clients.
- Identify new business opportunities with new customers and grow business with existing customers.
- Continue strong customer relations by executing market plans and strategies with consideration to business objectives, individual customer requirements, and market conditions.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to fulfill and exceed customer needs.
- Undertake price maintenance activities and database management.
