Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor role involves overseeing and performing maintenance and property support services. This full-time position requires ensuring that all buildings, equipment, and grounds are maintained to the highest standards.

This includes managing and performing reactive and preventative maintenance tasks for buildings, plant, equipment, furniture, fittings, grounds, and carparks.

  • Manage and perform maintenance activities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Collaborate with Site Manager and Area Manager to deliver maintenance services with minimal impact on residents and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of asset acquisitions and disposals, and ensure site vehicle, plant, and machinery maintenance.
  • Manage contractors, tradespersons, suppliers, and volunteers to complete work to high standards.

  • Trade qualifications (preferred)
  • Knowledge of building maintenance, plant, and equipment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Patience, empathy, and great communication skills
  • Commitment to upholding high standards
  • Sound computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Police Check and NSW Working with Children Check for paid employment purposes
