About the role
Waterpoint Building Management is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Building Manager to join our team in Woolooware Bay, NSW. This full-time role will provide you with the opportunity to support the effective management and maintenance of commercial and residential properties. Working closely with the Lead Building Manager, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our properties.
What you'll be doing

Assist the Building Manager with the overall management and maintenance of commercial and residential properties

Liaise with tenants, contractors and other stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner

Coordinate and oversee the work of tradespeople and service providers to ensure properties are well-maintained
-
Conduct regular inspections of properties and identify any maintenance or repair requirements

Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets and other administrative tasks

Ensure properties comply with relevant legislation, regulations and safety standards

Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
What we're looking for

Previous experience in a building management or facilities management role, preferably in the commercial and/or residential property sector

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines

Proficient in the use of property management software and Microsoft Office suite

Knowledge of relevant building, safety and compliance regulations

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Relevant tertiary qualifications in property management, facilities management or a related field would be highly regarded
