Rental First is a dedicated property management company with a strong presence in the St Leonards area of New South Wales.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Property Management Associate to assist in the management of our growing residential property portfolio. The successful candidate will be based at our head office in St Leonards but will have the opportunity to work on properties across Sydney.

The role involves a range of responsibilities including showing properties to prospective tenants, processing applications and screening potential tenants, preparing Residential Tenancy Agreements, conducting condition reports, following up tenant arrears, resolving maintenance issues, liaising with tenants, and issuing notices for termination or rental increases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the management of a large residential property portfolio
  • Show properties to prospective tenants and conduct viewings
  • Process applications and screen potential tenants
  • Prepare Residential Tenancy Agreements and other legal documents
  • Conduct condition reports and inspections
  • Follow up tenant arrears and resolve maintenance issues
  • Liaise with tenants and issue notices as required
Requirements:
  • A background in property management is desirable but not essential
  • A current Certificate of Registration would be beneficial
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • A high level of attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
