Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and self-motivated individual to join our Perioperative Theatre team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their caseload efficiently, coordinating instrumentation and equipment requirements, and performing effective decontamination and reprocessing of various endoscopes, equipment and accessories.

This is a key element of the surgical process, and your ability to manage your workload quickly and efficiently will directly affect the care of patients.

  • Assemble, disassemble and manage theatre case set-ups in accordance with operating lists, displaying attention to detail
  • The operation of specialised sterilising equipment specific to the Perioperative environment

Key Skills and Qualifications

For this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Health Services (desirable)
  • Endoscope cleaning experience (highly desirable)
  • A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate workload efficiently
  • Previous experience in a theatre / hospital environment
