**Your Key Accountabilities**

This position is a key element of the surgical process, therefore your ability to manage your caseload quickly and efficiently will directly affect the care of patients. You will be required to:

- Assemble, disassemble and manage theatre case set-ups in accordance with operating lists, displaying attention to detail
- The operation of specialised sterilising equipment specific to the Perioperative environment
- Perform effective decontamination and reprocessing of various endoscopes, equipment and accessories
- Maintain proof of process and cycle validation documentation specific to the perioperative environment
- Coordinate instrumentation and equipment requirements with theatre teams as per daily requirements

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Completion of a Certificate III in Health Services is desirable
- Endoscope cleaning experience highly desirable
- A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team
- Ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate workload efficiently
- Previous experience in a theatre / hospital environment

Your flexibility to handle a rotating roster, with weekend and evening shifts will be key for this role.
