Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Robotic Surgery Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to advancing orthopaedic surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the in-theatre expert for Mako-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
Requirements

This role requires an individual with a strong clinical background and passion for surgical innovation. Relevant backgrounds may include:

  • Orthopaedic clinical support
  • Biomedical science/engineering
  • Medical device experience
  • Operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience
  • Physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure
  • Human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience
