Business Development Associate Role

This position is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to join our team as a Business Development Associate.

The role involves working closely with senior professionals to support the development and execution of business growth initiatives across various practice areas. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, drafting tenders, and promoting the firm's brand and capabilities in the competitive legal market.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with drafting and coordinating tenders, bids, and proposals;
  • Support the identification and pursuit of client opportunities;
  • Conduct market analysis and related research;
  • Collate and prepare firm directory and award submissions;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and manage client relationships;
  • Coordinate in-house client seminars, webinars, and events;
  • Develop a profile and credibility with internal stakeholders, promoting the Clients & Markets function, its expertise, and capabilities;
  • Perform other tasks as required by the Clients & Markets Manager.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in business development, communications, or a related field;
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing or a similar business discipline;
  • Experience preparing tenders and proposals;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio;
  • Familiarity with Client Relationship Management databases (Interaction desirable).
