Lead the Way in Luxury Guest Services

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Concierge Team Lead role offers an exceptional opportunity to lead and inspire a team of Concierges at The Star Sydney. As a key member of our Hotel Department, you will be responsible for delivering a 5-star guest experience, anticipating and exceeding guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Concierge and Bell Desk departments, ensuring a welcoming environment and exceptional guest relations.
  • Assist guests with special requests, requirements, and solve problems to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
  • Recruit, develop, and train the Concierge and Bell Desk team, including performance reviews.
  • Respond to guest feedback and implement changes to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Supervise and add value to the activities of all team members, providing leadership to ensure maximum productivity and guest satisfaction.
  • Curate memorable experiences at a 5-star level, providing guests with the best recommendations throughout their journey.
  • Create a positive work environment that facilitates team member motivation, builds morale, and teamwork.
  • Manage the bell team, including scheduling, performance management, and training & development procedures.
Requirements:
  • Extensive leadership experience in Hotel or Guest Services environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Sydney, tourist attractions, restaurants, theatres, sporting events, harbour cruises, fashion, and retail.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
  • The ability to speak a second language (highly regarded but not essential).
  • Adaptable with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about delivering excellent guest experiences.
