Job Title: Privacy Analyst

Role Summary:

This role involves working closely with the Risk and Compliance team to enhance and implement a robust privacy framework, ensuring compliance with relevant privacy laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, review and maintain privacy policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and providing effective communication and training on requirements.
  • Undertake assessments of privacy-related incidents, ensuring timely investigation, reporting and resolution.
  • Conduct privacy risk assessments and monitor and oversee privacy practices to ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
  • Prepare reports on privacy compliance status, incidents and risk assessments for senior management.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role in regulatory compliance or legal with experience in the Australian financial services industry preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyse and communicate complex matters in a commercially sensible way.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
