Data Protection and Cybersecurity Content Specialist

We are seeking a skilled legal content developer to join our team and create high-quality, up-to-date practical legal content for our leading product, Practical Guidance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience as a practicing lawyer in Australia, particularly in data privacy and/or cybersecurity.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and plain-English writing skills, as well as the ability to build and foster relationships with diverse clients and stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills are essential for this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can utilise your expertise to create valuable content that supports the rule of law.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, up-to-date practical legal content
  • Work with external specialist authors to create new materials
  • Support Relationship Managers to build brand awareness and influence market share across clients and stakeholders
  • Maintain practically-focused content and resources for our popular Practical Guidance product

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years PQE
  • Experience in an Australian legal practice
  • Australian legal practice background with experience or strong interest in data privacy and/or cybersecurity
  • Excellent communication and plain-English writing skills
  • Aptitude for building and fostering relationships with diverse clients and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
