About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Porter / Guest Service Agent to join our team at PULLMAN. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Services: Provide prompt and courteous assistance to guests, responding to their requests and needs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, handling check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Develop strong relationships with guests, colleagues, and management, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to deliver exceptional service.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to achieve common goals, share knowledge, and support each other in delivering outstanding service.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a hospitality environment, preferably in a similar role, is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests, colleagues, and management in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and handle cash and credit transactions efficiently.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, nights, and weekends, as well as rotating rosters.
  • Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills, with the ability to use Opera PMS and other relevant systems.
  • Driver's License: Full, clean, and current Australian driver's license, with the ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles.
