Job Opportunity Overview

The Director Divisional Project Delivery role is a temporary position offering a 24-month assignment to oversee the execution and management of projects and programs across the Finance Technology and Commercial divisions portfolio. As a senior executive, you will be accountable for developing, managing, and delivering projects and programs of work.

You will effectively communicate with stakeholders through negotiation, issues management, and engagement strategies to ensure deliverables are met. Your responsibility also includes fostering a culture of collaboration aligned with Divisional objectives and leading a high-performing team of project professionals.

This opportunity requires an individual with extensive experience in project delivery and controls, proven success in complex environments, and demonstrated leadership skills in change management, collaboration, and driving strategic outcomes.

A successful candidate will possess strong expertise in project cost, scheduling, resourcing, and risk management, as well as an ability to provide guidance within an organization. They should also understand the balance between meeting customer requirements and adhering to regulatory, policy, government, and operational conditions.

  • Develop, manage, and deliver projects and programs of work.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, and quality standards are met.

Identify and mitigate potential risks, and develop contingency plans to minimize their impact.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project goals and objectives.

Team Leadership

Build and lead a high-performing team of project professionals.

Mentor and develop team members, providing opportunities for growth and professional development.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting open communication and feedback.Requirements and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in project delivery and project controls.
  • Proven success in complex environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in change management, collaboration, and driving strategic outcomes.
  • Strong expertise in project cost, scheduling, resourcing, and risk management.
