Senior Food Operations Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished food operations professional to join our team as a Senior Food Operations Manager. This is a rare opportunity to take on a challenging and rewarding role, responsible for the management of multiple food and beverage venues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategic plans that drive venue success through effective operational management.
  2. Manage the day-to-day operations, financial performance, and overall presentation of all venues to ensure exceptional customer experience.
  3. Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost control to optimize profitability.
  4. Identify opportunities for operational improvement and implement scalable solutions across all venues.
  5. Lead workforce planning, including rostering, recruitment, and staffing requirements, to meet business needs.
  6. Inspire and develop a high-performing team culture focused on excellence and accountability.
  7. Ensure full compliance with industry legislation and licensing obligations.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years senior management experience in multi-venue food and beverage operations.
  2. Current RSA and RMLV Approved Manager accreditation.
  3. Proven track record of building and growing gaming and hospitality venues to reach their full potential.
  4. Strong staff management experience, with ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.
  5. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  6. Strong time management skills.
  7. Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Business Management (not essential but viewed favourably).
