Physical Health Specialist


We are seeking a qualified Physical Health Specialist to join our team. As a Physical Health Specialist, you will work with a range of clients, both in residential aged care and community settings, supporting and guiding them to achieve their goals and ultimately to help them live their best lives.


The Opportunity

This is a permanent part-time opportunity working 2-3 days a week. The successful candidate will have experience in promoting health and wellbeing by enabling people to participate in the everyday activities.


Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage group and 1:1 exercise programs in residential aged care facilities;
  • Support individuals with self-identified needs through private services;
  • Focus on post-orthopaedic surgery rehabilitation in the home program;
  • Support clients after hospitalization, including general surgeries, through the Hospital in the Home program;
  • Work with Home Care Package clients to support those who wish to remain independent at home.

Qualifications and Skills

To be considered for this role, you must be a fully registered Physiotherapist with AHPRA, have a minimum of 2 years' experience, ideally in a community setting, and be comfortable working independently. You should also have access to a vehicle and be willing to travel to clients' homes.
