**Position Information**:
Gosford High School is a selective school catering for high academic students. Current enrolment is 1074 students from Year 7- Year 12 with 5 of these students identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. The ethos of academic excellence and personal best are at the core of the school's vision and purpose. The school community is diverse with approximately 40% of students from language backgrounds other than English. The school is an active member of the Cooinda AECG and closely aligns all faculty and school professional learning with the Aboriginal Education Policy. **Selection Criteria**:

- Approval to teach Personal Development, Health, and Physical Education (Years 7-12), Community and Family Studies and Sport, Lifestyle & Recreation (SLR)
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the teaching of Stage 6 PDHPE and the ability to implement and evaluate innovative programs, resources and assessments that build a culture of high expectations.
- Proven experience in developing teaching and learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of all students including high potential and gifted students.
- Highly developed organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to contribute to faculty planning and whole school sports programs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
