Station Master Job Summary

We are seeking a Station Master to lead and manage our team at Upper Ferntree Gully Station.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage station resources through strong leadership and management, ensuring effective delivery of passenger services.
  • Safeworking and Control Desk Functions: Perform Safeworking and Control Desk functions, deploying staff resources and reallocating rosters in response to short notice absences.
  • Incident Reporting: Provide reports on unusual incidents and circumstances occurring at the locations supervised, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Complaint Resolution: Ensure complaints are dealt with in accordance with Metro Trains Passenger Experience Policies & Procedures.
