About the Role

As a Motor Assessing Manager at Auto & General Insurance, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of technical, process, and customer service experts to drive market-leading cost capabilities through the application of our Repair Method and Assessing Quality Assurance Framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Assessing Business to achieve market-leading cost capabilities
  • Develop and drive the team's technical, process, and customer service expertise
  • Apply our Repair Method and Assessing Quality Assurance Framework to drive business results
  • Celebrate success and promote a culture of high performance
  • Coach and mentor team members to build relationships, set clear goals, and provide constructive feedback
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating our values and influencing how they are lived within the team
  • Represent the Leadership Team and demonstrate self-management and positive influence
  • Lead the team to achieve organizational expectations for quality business results
  • Help team members connect their day-to-day work with our purpose
Requirements
  • Leadership experience in both line leadership and thought leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills, high-level problem-solving, and systems thinking
  • Ability to lead innovation and change, including personal resilience
  • Experience and knowledge of the motor body repair industry
  • Demonstrated ability to acquire and apply new learning to improve business performance
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Demonstrated ability to meet service delivery expectations
  • Commercial acumen
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Relevant Trade qualification
