Dispute Resolution Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our dispute resolution team in Melbourne.

About the Role

This is a full-time, 12-month contract position that requires strategic and operational leadership skills. The successful candidate will provide high-quality service delivery aligned with legislative and procedural frameworks.

Your Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with senior management to develop and implement a proactive approach to dispute resolution.
  • Lead and manage a team of dispute resolution professionals, providing supervision, coaching, and performance development.
  • Oversee intake, assessment, and resolution of disputes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policy.
  • Promote early resolution practices, including conciliation.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including legal representatives and regulatory bodies.
What You'll Need
  • A strong background in dispute resolution, case management, or legal services.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex disputes, preferably in a Vic Workers Compensation or regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams in high-pressure environments with empathy and professionalism.
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, dispute resolution, public administration, or a related field (desirable).
