About the Role:

This is a part-time ongoing position working Mondays and Fridays. As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for engaging with clients in groups, on outings, and through various activities that promote their independence and social interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work alongside clients in group settings, facilitating their participation in activities and promoting their engagement with their community* Develop and implement individualized service plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each client* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services and support to clients* Maintain accurate records and reports, documenting client progress and outcomes

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

* A Certificate III in Aged Care or Community Support, or equivalent qualification* Proven experience working with older adults, preferably in a community-based setting* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between locations as required
